Note: This Micor case is applicable to Salvia greggii x microphylla (hybrid) which must:

  • Be ex glasshouse grown
  • Not be older than 10 weeks 
  • The height of the plants must not exceed 200mm

This Micor case does not apply to the following prohibited species.

  • Salvia reflexa
  • Salvia tiliifolia Vahl

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
 

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignment must be clearly identified with their scientific name (genus and species).

Plants in this consignment are subject to post entry quarantine requirements on arrival into South Africa.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.
 

Note: The designated point of entry in South Africa is OR Tambo International Airport, Durban Harbour, Cape Town Harbour or Cape Town International Airport. 

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7520)
1) 4-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus canadensis), McDaniel spider mite (Tetranychus mcdanieli), Pacific spider mite (Tetranychus pacificus), Schoene spider mite (Tetranychus schoenei), Hawthorn spider mite (Tetranychus viennensis), Spider mite (Eotetranychus pruni (syn. E. pomi)), Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor) and Xylella fastidiosa are not known to occur in Australia.
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free from, Leaf miners (Liriomyza spp), 6-spotted spider mite (Eotetranychus sexmaculatus) and Western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis).
3) The consignment has been laboratory tested and found free from White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi), Strawberry Foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Chrysanthemum foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzema-bosi) and Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci).
4) Plants in this consignment are packed in sterilised medium free from soil particles,
5) Plants in this consignment are free from fruit, seed and pods.
