Consignments unable to certify place of production freedom for Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hisutus) and Black vine weevil (Otiorhynchus sulcatus) are to be treated with a wide spectrum insecticide at recommended manufacturers requirements.

1) Strawberry latent ringspot virus, Sudden oak death (Phytophthora ramorum), Bark eating caterpillar (Indarbela quadrinotata), Olive scale (Parlatoria oleae), Passionvine mealybug (Planococcus minor), Cottony maple scale (Pulvinaria vitis), Mango mealybug (Rastrococcus iceryoides), Mealybug (Rhizoecus kondonis), West Indian red scale (Selenaspidus articulatus), Pacific spider mite (Tetranychus pacificus), Hawthorn spider mite (Tetranychus viennensis) Strawberry weevil (Anthonomus signathus) and European canker (Nectria galligena) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus) and Black vine weevil (Otiorhynchus sulcatus) are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Mites (Oligonychus biharensis), Whitefly (Aleurodicus dispersus), Nettle ensign scale (Orthezia urticae) and European fruit lecanium (Parthenolecanium corni),
4) The consignment has been inspected and is free from flowers and soil.
