Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


All plants must be free from fruit, seeds and pods.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


All media used for packing is to be sterilized and free from soil particles. Evidence of sterilization is to be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

1) 4-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus canadensis), McDaniel spider mite (Tetranychus mcdanieli), Pacific spider mite (Tetranychus pacificus), Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor) and Strawberry latent ringspot virus are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The plants were found free through laboratory testing of Spring dwarf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae) and Stem nematode (Ditylenchus destructor),
3) The plants were inspected and found free from Western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis).
