A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 1165:

  • Tomato black ring virus, Tomato ringspot virus, Pepino mosaic virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus are known not to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A crop inspection certificate certificate must be provided to endorse freedom from Fusarium wilt of tomato (Fusarium oxysporium f.sp lycopersici Race III) and Potato spindle tuber viroid.

Endorsement 1166:

  • Tomato black ring virus, Tomato ringspot virus, Pepino mosaic virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus are known not to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required for endorsing freedom from (Fusarium oxysporium f.sp lycopersici Race III) and Potato spindle tuber viroid.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1165)
1) Tomato black ring virus, Tomato ringspotvirus, Pepino mosaic virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus are known not tooccur in Australia,
2) The parent plants were inspected during thegrowing season and found free from Fusarium wilt of tomato (Fusarium oxysporiumf.sp lycopersici Race III) and Potato spindle tuber viroid.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 1166)
1) Tomato black ring virus, Tomato ringspotvirus, Pepino mosaic virus and Tomato brown rugose fruit virus are known not tooccur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found freethrough laboratory testing of Fusarium wilt of tomato (Fusarium oxysporium f.splycopersici Race III) and Potato spindle tuber viroid.
