Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 8137:
  • Late wilt (Acremonium maydis) and Pea early-browning virus are not known to occur in Australia. No supporting evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests. 
  • Phytophthora root and stem rot (Phytophthora sojae) is a soil-borne fungus and is not found in the Lupinus spp seed export pathway. No supporting evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • A representative sample of the consignment must be tested and found free of Phomopsis seed decay (Phomopsis longicolla). A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
Notes:
  • Acremonium maydis is a synonym of Cephalosporium maydis.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

2) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedures of Phomopsis seed decay (Phomopsis longicolla) and Phytophthora root and stem rot (Phytophthora sojae).
