Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 3199:

  • Palm lethal yellowing phytoplasma is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
Endorsement 7026:
  • Red ring nematode (Rhadinaphelenchus cocophilus) and Palm red weevil (Rhynchophorus palmarum) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.

Endorsement 8206:

  • This endorsement only applies if the import permit specifically requires an additional declaration stating 'Plants were packed in a sterilised medium free from soil particles'. The exporter is to provide a packer's declaration or a manufacturer's declaration stating that seeds are packed in a sterilised medium free from soil particles and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
  • Palm lethal yellowing phytoplasma is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
