Consignments are to be free from fruits, seeds and pods.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


All media used for packing is to be sterilized and free from soil particles. Evidence of sterilization is to be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection

Plants must be less than 2 years of age. 

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1977)
1) Palm lethal yellowing phytoplasma is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The plants are packed in a sterilised medium free from soil particles,
3) The plants were inspected and found free from fruit, seeds and pods.
