A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Note:
  • Details of the treatment and Additional declarations are to be certified on the phytosanitary certificate when specified on the import permit. Otherwise a phytosanitary certificate with no additional declarations and treatment will be issued.


Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 1116 and 4530:

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignment unable to be certified according to endorsement 1116 or are to be endorsed with No Additional Declaration on the phytosanitary certificate.

Consignments unable to be certifiedaccording to endorsement 1116 or 4530 are to be treated with an appropriate fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirementseffective against LooseSmut (Ustilago nuda), not more than 14 days priorto exports.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1116)
1) The parent plants were inspected duringthe growing season and found free from Loose Smut (Ustilago nuda).

Option2 (EXDOC Endorsement 4530)
1) Loose Smut(Ustilago nuda) is known not to occur in the area of production.
