A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
All consignments are to be treated with a wide spectrum insecticide effective against Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus) not more than 14 days prior to export.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 2740)
1) Cotton leaf curl virus, Cotton anthocyenosis virus, Hibiscus mite (Eriophyes hibisci), Longicorn beetle (Anoplophora chinensis), Hibiscus snow scale (Pinnaspis strechani), Jackbeardsley mealybug (Pseudococcus jacbeardsleyi), Mango mealybug (Rastrococcus iceryoides), Mites (Tegonotus hibiscella) and Turnid spider mite (Tetranychus tumidus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The cuttings were inspected and found free from Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus), Whitefly (Aleurodicus dispersus), Florida wax scale (Ceroplastes floridensis), Red cotton stainer (Dysdercus cingulatus), Spotted bollworm (Earias vitella), Bean blossom thrip (Megolarothrips distalis), Japanese bayberry whitefly (Parabemisia myricaea), Pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella), Pink spotted bollworm (Pectinophora scutigera), Passionvine mealybug (Planococcus minor), Flower thrips (Thrips hawalensis), Mites (Calacarus malvae), White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi) and Chrysanthemum foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzema-bosi),
3) Wet weather blight of cotton (Ascochyta gossypii) is known not to occur in the area of production.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 2741)

2) The cuttings were inspected and found free from Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus), Whitefly (Aleurodicus dispersus), Florida wax scale (Ceroplastes floridensis), Red cotton stainer (Dysdercus cingulatus), Spotted bollworm (Earias vitella), Bean blossom thrip (Megolarothrips distalis), Japanese bayberry whitefly (Parabemisia myricaea), Pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella), Pink spotted bollworm (Pectinophora scutigera), Passionvine mealybug (Planococcus minor), Flower thrips (Thrips hawalensis), Mites (Calacarus malvae), White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi) and Chrysanthemum foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzema-bosi),
