A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Cucumis colossus seed is prohibited for export to South Africa.

Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 1091:
  • Tomato ringspot nepovirus is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Tobacco ringspot nepovirus and Squash mosaic comovirus.
Endorsement 1092:
  • Tomato ringspot nepovirus is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • A laboratory analysis certificate indicating the testing method as ELISA and that the consignment was sampled according to ISTA rules is required to endorse freedom from Tobacco ringspot nepovirus and Squash mosaic comovirus.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1091)
1) Tomato ringspot nepovirus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Tobacco ringspot nepovirus and Squash mosaic comovirus.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 1092)
1) Tomato ringspot nepovirus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The consignment was sampled according to ISTA rules, tested using ELISA and found free from Tobacco ringspot nepovirus and Squash mosaic comovirus.
