Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Plants must be produced in a glasshouse. 

Plants must not be older than 10 weeks and/or the height must not exceed 200mm.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Potato wart disease (Synchytrium endobioticum), Texas root rot (Phymatotrichopsis omnivora), Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor), Four spotted spider mite (Tetranychus canadensis), Mcdaniel spider mite (Tetranychus mcdanieli) and Pacific spider mite (Tetranychus pacificus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free from Western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis), White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi), Spring dwarf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Chrysanthemum foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzema-bosi) and Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci),
3) The plants are rooted, cultivated and packed in a sterilised medium free from soil particles.
