Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 723 & 724 & 725
  • Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citrumelo) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv aurantifolii) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
Where applicable, the exporter is provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 723)
1) Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citrumelo) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv aurantifolii) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The seed has been sourced from state free of Durian fruit rot (Phytophthora palmivora), and Citrus leaf blotch virus.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 724)
1) Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citrumelo) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv aurantifolii) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Citrus leaf blotch virus,
3) The consignment was treated with hot water at 52˚C for 10 minutes, followedby dipping in 0.5% sodium hypochlorite.

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 725)
1) Bacterial spot (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citrumelo) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv aurantifolii) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Citrus leaf blotch virus,
3) The consignment was treated with hot water at 52˚C for 10 minutes, followedby dipping in 1% solution of 8-hydroxyquinoline.
