Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignment must belabelled with its correct botanical name (genus and species).

Note: Case applies to rooted plants grown in a greenhouse that are less than 10 weeks in age and /or height not exceeding 200mm.

1) Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor), Four spotted spider mite (Tetranychus canadensis), Mcdaniel spider mite (Tetranychus mcdanieli), Pacific spider mite (Tetranychus pacificus), Schoene spider mite (Tetranychus schoenei), Hawthorn spider mite (Tetranychus viennensis), Apple yellow mite (Eotetranychus pruni), Texasroot rot (Phymatotrichopsis omnivora/Phymatotrichopsis omnivorum) and Potato wart disease (Synchytriumendobioticum) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free from Western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis), Leaf miners (Liriomyza spp), White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi), Spring dwarf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Chrysanthemum foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzema-bosi), Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and 6-spotted spider mite (Eotetranychus sexmaculatus),
3) The plants are rooted, cultivated and packed in a sterilised medium free from soil particles.
