Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Plants must be less than 2 years in age.

Consignment must be clearly identified with their scientific name (genus and species).

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

1) Aster yellows MLO, Acrolepia assectella [Acrolepiopsis assectella], Cacoecimorpha pronubana, Clepsis spectrana, Delia antiqua, Delia florilega , Ditylenchus destructor, Orthezia urticae, Petrobia apicalis, Phytobia cepae [Liriomyza cepae], Suillia univitatta, and Tetranychus desertorum, Tomato black ring nepovirus are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The parent plants were found free through laboratory testing of Belonolaimus longicaudatus, Ditylenchus dipsaci, Radopholus similis, Tobacco rattle tobravirus and Xiphinema index,
3) The plants were inspected during active growth and found free from Urocystis magica [Syn. Urocystis cepulae],
4) Plants in this consignment were inspected and found free from Agrotis munda, Delia platura, Liriomyza sativae, Myzus ascalonicus, Spodoptera frugiperda, Spodoptera litura and Tiracola plagiata,
5) Plants in this consignment are packed in sterilised medium free from soil particles.
6) Plants in this consignment are free from fruit, seed and pods.
