Additional declarations are only to be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate if specified on the import permit.
Micor case applies to consignments greater than 250grms.
Seed must be sourced from Department of Agriculture Soloman Islands approved sources - refer to Import Permit for approved list of seed suppliers.
Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.
Packages / packets are to be clearly identified by the botanical name. Other forms of identification permitted as stated on the import permit.
Explanation of endorsements
Endorsement 1187:
- Pepino mosaic virus is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Potato spindle tuber viroid and Tomato chlorotic dwarf viroid.
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse the statement that the seeds in the consignment have been prepared to industry standards with thorough cleaning to remove all traces of flesh from the seeds.
Endorsement 7404:
- Pepino mosaic virus is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Potato spindle tuber viroid and Tomato chlorotic dwarf viroid.
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse the statement that the seeds in the consignment have been prepared to industry standards with thorough cleaning to remove all traces of flesh from the seeds.

2) A representative sample was officially tested using appropriate methods and found free from Potato spindle tuber viroid and Tomato chlorotic dwarf viroid,
3) The seeds in this consignment have been prepared to industry standards with thorough cleaning to remove all traces of flesh from the seeds.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 7404)
1) Pepino mosaic virus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) Potato spindle tuber viroid and Tomato chlorotic dwarf viroid are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) The seeds in this consignment have been prepared to industry standards with thorough cleaning to remove all traces of flesh from the seeds.
