Micor Plants case applies to processed stockfeed with multiple ingredients.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


The exporter is to ensure that a list of ingredients for each product accompanies the consignment.
Consignments are to be treated with either:

  • Methyl bromide fumigation at 32 grm/m3 for 24 hours at 21 degrees Celsius.
OR
  • Heat treatment at no less than 85 degrees Celsius for no less than 48 hours once the core temperature has been reached.
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
