Consignment must be labelled with correct botanical names (genus and species).
Transported containers must be sterile, rigid (non-porous) and clear to allow easy inspection upon arrival.
ICR applies to the following genus and species and hybrids.
- Poncirus trifoliata x Citrus reticulata
- Poncirus trifoliata x Citrus sinensis
- Citrus reticulata
Explanation of the endorsement:
Endorsement 7386 – applies to bare rooted plants.
Endorsement 7388 – applies to plants exported in soil-less media.
Note:
Consignment is for research purpose only.
The plants are subject to post entry quarantine on arrival in Samoa for a period of 3 months.
Bare rooted plants must be dipped in fenamiphos at 1.6g a.i. per litre of water for 30 minutes prior to export.
Plants in soil-less media must be fumigated with methyl – bromide at the rate of 32/m3 for 2 hours at 21℃ or above prior to export.
