Alternaria leaf spot of sunflowers (Alternaria helianthi), Southern leaf blight of corn (Cochliobolus heterostrophus), Common root rot (Cochliobolus sativus), Black kernal of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus), Tobacco streak virus, Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), Fusarium blight (Gibberella avenacea), Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) and Black root rot (Chalara elegans) are not founf on the seed export pathway and certifciation may be endorsed without sighting evidence.
For certification of Aspergillus rot (Aspergillus flavus), Grey mould-rot (Botryotinia fuckeliana), Charcoal rot (Macrophomina phaseolina) and Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) a combination of crop inspection , area of production freedom or laboratory testing may be accepted.
Exporter is responsible for ensuring each consignment is accompanied with a Seed Quality Certificate as per the import requirements.

1) Stem canker & Stalk rot of Sunflower (Diaporthe helianthi) and Downy mildew of sunflower (Plasmopara halstedii) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Using official procedures, the consignment was found free of Aspergillus rot (Aspergillus flavus), Grey mould-rot (Botryotinia fuckeliana), Charcoal rot (Macrophomina phaseolina), Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum), Alternaria leaf spot of sunflowers (Alternaria helianthi), Southern leaf blight of corn (Cochliobolus heterostrophus), Common root rot (Cochliobolus sativus), Black kernal of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus), Tobacco streak virus, Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), Fusarium blight (Gibberella avenacea), Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) and Black root rot (Chalara elegans),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Brown garden snail (Helix aspersa).
