Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Following pests are not known to occur in Australia. Freedom from these pests may be endorsed without citing an evidence:

Brazil bean weevil (Zabrotes subfasciatus), Khapra beetle (Trоgoderma granarium) and Broad nosed grain weevil (Caulophilus latinasus).

Freedom from Witchweed (Striga spp.) may be endorsed on the basis of zone, places and production sites freedom.

Note: These importing countries requirements are not applicable to the following grains for consumption and processing:
- Wheat, Triticale and meslin
- Maize
- Leguminous crops
- Soybeans
 
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The grains in this consignment are free of quarantine pests stipulated in the Common Rules No.157 approved by the Council of Eurasian Economical Commission on 30 November 2016.
