Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignment must be accompanied with appropriate certificate that the seeds have undergone routine detection procedures and found to be free from seedborne plant pathogens, storage insect pests and weed seeds.

Exporter to provide crop inspection report to the Department of Agriculture Autrhorised Officer at the time of inspection.
  • Consignments are to be fumigated with appropriate fumigant at manufacturers recommended label rate;

OR

  • To be treated with appropriate fungicide or insecticide at manufacturers recommended label rate.

 

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
