A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be accompanied by appropriate declaration from the exporter that the cuttings have undergone routine procedures (inspection and detection methods) and were found to be free from Charcoal rot of bean/tobacco (Macrophomina phaseolina), Pythium root rot (Pythium myriotylum), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora) and Barley yellow dwarf virus.

Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirements

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
