An import permit (SPS Import Clearance) may be required for Peas imported into the Philippines.

Exporters must confirm with the Philippines Department of Agriculture if an import permit (SPS Import Clearance) is required for the consignment. If required, copy of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of making an appointment for inspection.
If required by the import permit, the consignment must be treated with an appropriate fumigant at approved label rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
