Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The Philippines BPI may issue a Plant Quarantine Service Certificate (PQSC) for specific exporters. If one is available, consignment may be exported under an EX188B through the process outlined in the Non-Prescribed Goods Micor case. In this case, no inspection by an Authorised Officer is required.

When specified on the import permit, consignment must be fumigated with appropriate fumigant at Australian approved label rates.

Details of treatment to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
