Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The Plant Quarantine Clearance (PQC) number must be stated on the Phytosanitary certificate.
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate fumigant, or insecticide and fungicide, at recommended manufacturer's requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 4584)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv syringae) and Foot Rot of Cereal (Monographella nivalis),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Warehouse Beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
3) Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora) is known not to occur in the area of production.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 4585)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv syringae) and Foot Rot of Cereal (Monographella nivalis),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Warehouse Beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
3) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 1663)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv syringae), Foot Rot of Cereal (Monographella nivalis) and Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Warehouse Beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
