Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Exporters must confirm with the Phillipines NPPO if an import permit is required for the consignment. If an import permit is required, a copy of the import permit must be presented at the time of making an appointment for an inspection with an Authorised Officer.

A phytosanitary certificate is still required if an import permit is not issued.
