A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


The import permit number is to be included in the import permit section of the Phytosanitary certificate.
Plants are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers’ requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Yellow disease phytoplasmas (Candidatus Phytoplasma asteris) is known not to occur in Australia,
2) The plants were inspected and found free from Cottony cushion scale (Icerya purchasi),Fruit spotting bag (Amblypelta nitida),Banana spotting bug (Amblypelta lutescens),South African citrus thrips (Scirtothrips aurantii) and Canker: apple (Botryosphaeria ribis).
