Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
 
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
 
Consignments are to be accompanied by appropriate evidence from the exporter that tissue cultures have been obtained from parental stock free from Nectria haematococca and other diseases that can be carried in tissue cultured planting materials.

Tissue cultures should be properly packed, labeled and sealed in unbreakable containers during shipment.

The import permit (SPS Import Clearance) number must be stated on the Phytosanitary certificate.
