A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 7849:
  • A pest free place of production certificate is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae).
Endorsement 7850:
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae).
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturer's requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Additional Official Phytosanitary Information:
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae).
