A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements:

  • Root and stem dry rot (Gibberella intricans) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • A crop inspection certificate or a laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Charcoal rot of bean/tobacco (Macrophomina phaseolina), Tomato foot rot (Phytophthora cryptogea), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae), Powdery mildew (Golovinomyces cichoracearum), Choanephoras fruit rot (Choanephora cucurbitarum), Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria alternata), Bacterial fasciation (Rhodococcus fascians) and Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).
Consignment must be treated with an appropriate fungicide and insecticide at manufacturers' recommended rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

2) Consignment has been sourced from a pest free place of production free from Charcoal rot of bean/tobacco (Macrophomina phaseolina), Tomato foot rot (Phytophthora cryptogea), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae), Powdery mildew (Golovinomyces cichoracearum), Choanephoras fruit rot (Choanephora cucurbitarum), Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria alternata), Bacterial fasciation (Rhodococcus fascians) and Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 6991)
1) Root and stem dry rot (Gibberella intricans) is not known to occur in Australia.
2) Consignment has been tested and found free from Charcoal rot of bean/tobacco (Macrophomina phaseolina), Tomato foot rot (Phytophthora cryptogea), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae), Powdery mildew (Golovinomyces cichoracearum), Choanephoras fruit rot (Choanephora cucurbitarum), Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria alternata), Bacterial fasciation (Rhodococcus fascians) and Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).
