Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 7481
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Grey mould of onion (Botrytis aclada), Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Tobacco rattle virus.
Endorsement 7482
  • A laboratory testing certificate is required to endorse freedom from Grey mould of onion (Botrytis aclada), Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Tobacco rattle virus.

Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers’ requirements

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7481)
1) The crop was inspected during active growth and was found free from Grey mould of onion (Botrytis aclada), Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Tobacco rattle virus.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 7482)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Grey mould of onion (Botrytis aclada), Bean bacterial brown spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Tobacco rattle virus.
