This Micor case applies to logs with bark as well as hardwood poles.
- Endorsement is only to be isused if explicitly stated as a requirement in the import permit and the consignment was kiln dried.
- The kiln drying certificate must state the products have been kiln dried to a moisture content of 20% or below.
- Kiln drying certificate must be presented to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
If indicated in the import permit, products are to be treated with one of the below options:
- Methyl bromide fumigation at 48 g/m3 for 24 hours at 21 degrees or above,
- Heat treatment for 30 minutes at 56 degrees Celsius,
- Kiln dried for 30 minutes at 56 degrees Celsius.

1) The sawn wood in this shipment has been kiln dried to a moisture content of 20% and below.
