The representative sample is to be visually inspected to endorse freedom from Rice meal moth (Cocorcyra cephalonica) and Merchant grain beetle (Oryzaephilus mercator).
The exporters are to provide crop inspection report, area of production freedom certificate or laboratory test analysis report for endorsing freedom from Leaf spot (Bukholderia andropogonis).
These ICRs are also applicable to Sorghum bicolour subsp. bicolor.
Referto the Import permit to determine which endorsement option applies.
Consignments are to be treated with Carboxin at 0.8 grm a.i. per kg of seed and Thiram at 1 grm a.i. per kg of seed; or any other approved fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirements.
