Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments must be accompanied by a certificate from the manufacturer endorsing that the grains have been through a heat treatment up to 80 degrees Celsius for 20 hours and are non viable.

Containers must be accompanied by container cleanliness certificate to certify that the containers used for the consignment were clean and in good condition. If requested, a Container Inspection Certificate (GL2) may be issued certifying container hygiene prior to loading.
