Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
 
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignments are to be cleaned, graded, de-hulled, aspirated, separated and dry kilned.
 
The oats are to be whole grains, fairly uniform in size (6.0-9.0mm), reasonably free from broken, split, chipped, heat damaged, diseased, weather damaged, wild groats, hulls, and plant materials.
 
Consignments are to be free from chemical or other objectionable flavour.
Consignments are to be treated by processing at 103 degrees Celsius.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
