Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
The exporter must apply to the Oman Department of Veterinary Quarantine for a permit prior to export.
Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of making an appointment.
The Omani Veterinary Organisation will issue an import permit requiring a veterinary health certificate issued by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. Please contact the Grain and Seed Exports Program for obtaining a Veterinary Health Certificate to meet Omani import permit requirements.
Original veterinary health, country of origin and laboratory composition analysis certificates must accompany consignments.
The following should be written on each package:
