Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

All bulbs in the consignment must be dormant at time of inspection and arrive in New Zealand in a dormant state.

All bulbs in the consignment are to be officially inspected and to be found free of any visually detectable regulated pests.

If visually detectable pests are found which are not listed in the Ministry of Primary Industries import health standard, the pests regulatory status must be established prior to certification.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 6532)

 1) In addition to inspection of the dormant bulbs prior to shipment, the crop from which the bulbs were derived from were inspected during the growing season according to appropriate procedures and were considered free of quarantine pests and practically free from other injurious pests.
