There are no biosecurity inspection requirements for commercially-packaged powders, pastes or liquid extracts from plant and fungi free of viable organisms. Consignments must be accompanied by a manufacturers certificate describing the content, ingredients, physical form of the material and intended use.

Non commerically packaged material may need a permit to import, must meet specific biosecurity conditions in order to be eligible for biosecurity direction and clearance and will be subject to inspection upon arrival.
