Plantsmust be bare rooted
Allplants in the consignment are to be officially inspected and to be found freeof any visually detectable regulated pests.
Ifvisually detectable pests are found which are not listed in the Ministry ofPrimary Industries import health standard, the pests regulatory status must beestablished prior to certification.

Exporters have the choice of certifying to the mediarequirements as per endorsement 1750.

plants which have been raised in media containing soil must have the roots ofthe plants dipped in Fenamiphos at 1.6g a.i. per litre of water for 30 minutes.
All plants must be treated for insects and mites as Section 2.2.1.06 (b) of theMinistry of Primary Industries Standard 155.02.06: Importation of Nursery Stock(published on the MPI web site)
If any required treatment is not completed within the prescribed period priorto export, these measures must be completed in New Zealand where such servicesare available, and by prior arrangement with MPI
