Each type of plant in theconsignment must be clearly identified with its scientific name (genus andspecies).
All plants in the consignment are to be officially inspected and to be foundfree of any visually detectable regulated pests.
If visually detectable pests are found which are not listed in the New Zealand Ministry for Primary IndustriesStandard 155.02.06, the pest’s regulatory statusmust be established prior to certification. This information is available inMPI’s “Biosecurity Organisms Register for Imported Commodities" on the MPIwebsite.
All plants must be treated for insects and mites as Section 2.2.1.6 (b) of theNew Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries Standard 155.02.06: Importation ofNursery Stock (published on the MPI website).
