Each type of cutting in the consignment must be clearly identified with the scientific name (genus and species).
All cuttings in the consignment are to be officially inspected and to be found free of any visually detectable regulated pests.
If visually detectable pests are found which are not listed in the New Zealand MPI import health standard, the pests' regulatory status must be established prior to certification.

If any required treatment is not completed within the prescribed period prior to export, these measures must be completed in New Zealand where such services are available, and by prior arrangement with MPI.
