- Endorsements 1304 and 793 are only to be used for consignments that have been subject to one of the treatment schedules listed in the treatment section of this Micor case.
- If products are being treated in a transitional facility in New Zealand, no endorsement is required.
- Applies if an import permit is issued, and the import permit states that the consignment must be imported in accordance with both the Import Health Standard: Grain and Seeds for Consumption, Feed or Processing and CTO Direction EH_CTO2024014.
- A copy of the import permit and CTO Direction EH_CTO2024014 must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
- A treatment certificate or a manufacturer's declaration attesting that the grain/seed have been subjected to an appropriate kiln drying procedure is required.
- A seed analysis (seed vialibity testing) certificate showing nil viability/germination is required. The grain must be sampled using an appropriate ISTA methodology and tested by a laboratory that is either ISTA accredited, approved by the Australian NPPO or approved by a state/territory government authority.
- As a reference for the seed viability testing certificate, the statement "OFFICIAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER (NUMBER) / DATE (DATE)" must be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@aff.gov.au).
- A copy of the seed analysis (viability) certificate showing nil viability/germination must accompany the consignment.
Consignment must be either treated at a transitional facility after arrival in New Zealand, permitted entry based on an import permit and CTO Direction EH_CTO2024014, or treated in Australia at one of the following treatment schedules:
- Heat treatment: core temperature raised from 85 degrees Celsius at 40% minimum humidity for a minimum of 15 hours (continuous).
- Irradiation: irradiated at a dose of 25 KGy.
