Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Myrtle rust (Austropuccinia psidii) is present in Australia. Therefore, a treatment is required as per the treatments section.

The consignment must be treated with one of the following fungicides applied at the maximum label rate;

  • Azoxystrobin
  • Triadimenol
  • Manocozeb
  • Triforine
  • Tebuconazole

A copy of the registered label must accompany the consignment.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
