Copy of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of AgricultureAuthorised Officer at the time of making the appointment.

All cuttings in the consignment are to be officially inspected and to be foundfree of any visually detectable regulated pests.
If visually detectable pests are found which are not listed in the Department of AgricultureNew Zealand import health standard, the pests regulatory status must beestablished prior to certification.

All cuttings must be treated for insectsand mites as Section 2.2.1.06 (b) of the Department of Agriculture New Zealand Standard155.02.06: Importation of Nursery Stock (published on the Ministry of PrimaryIndustries web site)

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the department at time of authorisation.

If any required treatment is not completed within the prescribed period priorto export, these measures must be completed in New Zealand where such servicesare available, and by prior arrangement with MPI
