The ICRs are applicable to Capsicum annuum, Capsicum frutescens, Capsicum chinense, Capsicum baccatum (synonyms Capsicum microcarpum, Capsicum pendulum), Capsicum pubescens, Capsicum cardenasii and Capsicum eximium.

Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 6723:
- Applies to seed not of Australian origin where testing for Tomato brown rugose fruit virus is conducted in Australia.
- The consignment is to be issued with a phytosanitary certificate for re-export (EX25) to accompany an original or certified copy of a phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin covering New Zealand's additional declaration requirements for Potato spindle tuber viroid, Pepper chat fruit viroid and Tomato mottle mosaic virus.
- If the phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin meets all of New Zealand's import requirements, an EX25 with nil endorsement (apart from endorsement code 6536) is to be issued.
Endorsement 6833:
- Applies to seed not of Australian origin where testing for Tomato brown rugose fruit virus and Tomato mottle mosaic virus is conducted in Australia.
- The consignment is to be issued with a phytosanitary certificate for re-export (EX25) to accompany an original or certified copy of a phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin covering New Zealand's additional declaration requirements for Potato spindle tuber viroid and Pepper chat fruit viroid.
