Permitted entry without an accompanying Phytosanitary certificate

Consignment of dried flowers or foliage which are not specifically listed in Phyto will be actioned upon arrival by MAF NZ with one of the following options:

- Heat treatment at 85°C at 40% RH for a minimum of 8 hours. Importers permission to treat is required.
- May be permitted entry provided the consignment is accompanied by an International Seed Analysis certificate stating "No viable seed is present"
- Products that are not fro human consumption may be irradiated at 12 kGy
- May have a risk assessment carried out by the Plant Import Management Office, MAF Department of Agriculture Authority, PO Box 2326, Wellington, NZ
