ICR refers to vegetable seeds for which there is no specific ICR listed in MICoR Plants

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Packages must be free of litter, soil, leaves, compost or any other prohibitedorganic material.

Consignments are to be treated with an approved insecticide and fungicide at recommendedmanufacturer’s requirements.

Note:

  • treatment is not required for seed exported in commercial packaging of 100g or less per packet.


The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
