Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds, extraneous material, leaves, flowers and fruits.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
 
If required by the import permit then consignments are to be accompanied by a supplier's declaration stating that the plants are not genetically modified organisms.

Plants are to be bare rooted, thoroughly cleaned and free from soil.
 
Each plant in the consignments is to be clearly identified using an individual label bearing the scientific name (genus and species).

Packages must be free of soil, plant material or animal material.
 
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Plants are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide by dipping or spraying at recommended manufacturers requirements.
