Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, evidence of disease, weed seeds and extraneous material.

If stated by import permit, goods must be packaged in hermetically sealed commercial packaging if greater than 1kg.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Endorsement 656:

Applies to consignments of Australian origin. No treatment is requireed.

For consignments not of Australian origin, treatment applies with no additional declaration.
Consignments not of Australian origin are to be fumigated with an appropriate fumigant at recommended manufacturer's requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
