Consignments are to be bare-rooted, dormant and free offlowers and fruits.
Each plant in the consignment is to be clearly identifiedusing an individual label bearing the scientific name (genus and species).
Plant material must originate from nurseries which aremembers of the Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme Australia (NIASA).
- An appropriate insecticide and fungicide by dipping or spraying, at recommended manufacturers requirements;
AND
- Roots of the plants to be treated with an appropriate nematicide, at recommended manufacturers requirements, less than 15 days prior to shipment.
1) Bacterial leaf spot of pomegranate (Xanthomonas axonopodis pv punicae) isknown not to occur in Australia.
