Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


  • Consignments are to be 25 cm maximum size potted plants (including pot) on authoirsed growing media (peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, pine bark or cocopeat plugs);

OR

  • Bare rooted, washed plants.

Consignments are to be treated by dipping or spraying with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the department at time of authorisation.
